Time Slippage

This happened around 4 years ago when my family and I were preparing to go out for dinner. That evening, everyone was well dressed and my father had already opened the entrance door and was waiting for us outside. The rest were already out except me who was waiting for my elder sister to finish wearing her socks in the living room. I was standing in the middle of the only pathway that links the living room and the dining area to the entrance of the house. The pathway can only fit one person as it was quite a narrow one.

While I was standing there facing my sister, my dad behind called out to me asking what was I waiting for. I told him that I was waiting for my sister in the living room. I was confused when he said that my sister already left the house for quite some time already. It turned around again and there I was standing at the same spot but the living room light was already switched off and my sister was nowhere to be seen.

Everything happened in a split second and I was really puzzled of what had happened. One second the living room light was on with my sister over there and the next second while I turned 360 degrees, I was the only one left at home. I quickly went out of the house and in the car, I asked my sister if she saw me standing in that pathway but she didn't.
